System Administration & User Training
We provide basic System Admin training in addition to End user orientation, for all phone and voicemail systems we install. Administration training not only empowers your own staff to perform minor programming changes instantly, but also helps minimize the cost of technical support.
Structured Cabling
The backbone of any communications system, whether voice or data is the cable plan. Properly installed and configured for your future organizational requirements, it'll provide years of fault free operations. We offer a complete cabling product line in support for our own systems installations. For over thirty years we have implemented multi-pair copper and shielded copper wiring designs for many different customer applications. Our standard voice/data cable plan includes a Category 5 (CAT5e, CAT6) data cable run combined with a category 5e run in support of your voice system. For high-speed data capacity supporting Ethernet and LAN/WAN systems, we provide the necessary throughput and future capacity for most data applications. Our expert Network Assessment is available upon request.

What we offer
- All of General Telcom's new systems include a One year Full Parts and Labor Warranty.
- General Telcom provides 4 hour Emergency Service on all Telephone Systems, VoiceMail systems and Automatic Call Distribution system.
- We provide regular repair within an average of 24 hours.
- We do Adds, Moves and Changes within 5 Business Days.
- We provide a 30-day post cutover evaluation survey and up to one (1) hour of programming to fine tune the installation at No charge to the customer if done within the first 30-days.
- Our customer response center provides remote programming services from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
- Our customer support group will work with your personnel and train them in the most effective use of your new Telephone or VoiceMail System. In addition, brief easy to read Quick Reference Guides will be distributed during the onsite orientation session.
- System Administrators are given special individual attention to ensure a complete understanding of the system's administrative tools.
